The Vineyard

Domaine Asmara Vineyard is located in the heart of the Heathcote wine region.

The terroir consists of Red Cambrian soils, which were formed some 500 million years ago and are ideally suited to grow fruit of exceptional quality.

Cool winters and warm to hot summers give ideal growing and ripening conditions, especially for Shiraz wines. The Heathcote region is recognized as one of the top producing regions for this grape variety.

Our focus is to produce ultra-premium Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with additional varieties rounding off the portfolio.

A new Heathcotean cellar door and bistro was opened in June 2010.

Wines paired with fresh local produce will be a connoisseur's delight, while children can enjoy themselves on the playground.

Corporate and private functions for up to 50 guests can also be catered for.
